The Dining Services team is excited to welcome you back to campus. With the semester just a few days away, I want to pass along some important information and reminders to the students, faculty, and staff who will be dining with us this semester.
- Meal plans begin at lunchtime on Feb. 1. Please view spring semester hours for all dining locations across campus by visiting our website.
- We’ve made significant changes to dining locations across campus due to COVID-19 to ensure the safety of our guests and staff. To help you navigate the new dining program, we’ve created a handy Dining Guide, which is chock full of information about the food offerings at specific dining locations, details about our safety policies, and much more. Parents with any questions about changes made to the dining program can visit the “For Parents” tab on our website.
- Requests for student IDs must be submitted online. If you have not yet submitted an ID request, please do so immediately by following the instructions. Without an ID, guests will be unable to use their meal plans or Pard dollars.
- If you have not yet downloaded the Transact mobile ordering app, please do so now. Transact allows guests to use meals, Pard dollars, as well as debit and credit cards to order ahead at ECO, Simon’s, Gilbert’s, and Lower. When using Transact, note that the payment method defaults to Pard dollars. Please ensure you are using the correct payment method before you place your order. Meals placed using an incorrect payment method will be refunded on a case-by-case basis.
- Transact will be used to order food by students who are isolated due to COVID-19. Learn more about our isolation meal ordering system.
- Students who are in quarantine due to being a close contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 will be assigned a time to pick up a grab and go meal. Grab and go meals for close contact quarantined students can be pre-ordered on the Transact app, or picked up in either Lower Farinon or Marquis.
- As always, if you have questions about allergens and dietary restrictions, please contact Campus Executive Chef John Soder. Please direct all other questions to General Manager Chris Brown.
- Follow us on Instagram and Facebook to stay in the loop on specials, events, and general updates from Dining Services.
Warm regards,
Chris Brown
