I’ve always loved riding a bicycle. When I was a kid it was mostly BMX. However, when I moved to NYC for college I decided that bicycling would be my go-to mode of transportation. One of the greatest memories I have will always be sunrise rides over the Williamsburg Bridge in Brooklyn on my way to work in Gramercy.
I recently re-discovered my passion for cycling and wrote about it for Bicycle Magazine.
I put 5,000 miles and 250,000 feet of elevation on my bike in 2020 and hope to ride more in 2021. You can find me on Strava and ride with our group every Wednesday morning when spring rolls around. — Adam Atkinson, photography manager, Communications Division
