Remembering John Chunko

Lafayette offers condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of John Chunko, who passed away on March 18.

John joined Lafayette in 1981 as a custodian. He was promoted to an assistant custodial supervisor role in 2001 and became custodial supervisor in 2007.

“John was well respected on campus, and his focus was always on maintaining a safe, clean environment for our students, faculty, and staff,” says Scott Kennedy, director of facilities operations.

All are welcome to attend the visitation scheduled for 10-11 a.m. Friday at Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. Services will be private. Interment will be in Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
