Shutting down ICE detention centers

Last fall, Landis Center’s MOSAIC Tutoring Team addressed the subject of forced sterilization in ICE detention camps. This spring, the team wants to continue the conversation on ICE by addressing and bringing awareness to a local detention center that it runs, Berks County Jail, on Monday at noon. Two organizations that focus on immigration rights and the overall goal to shut down these detention centers will speak: Free Migration Project and Movement of Immigrant Leaders in Pennsylvania.
