A no-contact order (NCO) prohibits direct and indirect contact with named individuals. This includes face-to-face contact, email or other written communication, contact through social media, phone calls, voicemails, and/or text messages.

You can request an NCO from Public Safety, the Office of Educational Equity, and the Office of the Dean of Students.

What is a PFA?
A protection from abuse (PFA) order is a written document signed by a judge that prohibits an individual from making contact with a complainant. It is typically more restrictive than an NCO. Public Safety can assist you in obtaining a PFA order if appropriate.
