My favorite Lafayette memory has to be my study sessions with my friends at Skillman or RISC. No matter what I was doing—completing homework, complaining about doing my thesis, and/or just hanging out—I always looked forward to going to either place just to be with them. Pre-pandemic, it was a good way to socialize with other people while I studied for classes. However, once the pandemic hit, I realized how much I missed being around my friends, who kept me sane during my studies. I specifically sat in the lobby of Skillman during my first two years of college and in room 209 of RISC for the last year of college. I will always cherish my time at these places and will always take my memories wherever I go. —Kimberly Mae Manalang ’21
