Telling the whole science story

“Science evangelist” Ainissa Ramirez will speak about all of the people and processes involved in developing science as well as the societal impacts of that science on Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. in Kirby 104. Or register to watch via Zoom. After the talk, head to the Quad for s’mores with President Hurd.

Ramirez is an award-winning scientist and science communicator who has been a researcher at Bell Labs and a faculty member in mechanical engineering at Yale. She is the author of the award-winning book The Alchemy of Us: How Humans and Matter Transformed One Another and hosts the Science Underground pocast.
