Easton Book Festival kickoff

The College Store will host three kickoff events for the third annual Easton Book Festival this weekend. All events are free and open to the Lafayette and greater Easton communities.

Saturday, 11 a.m., Books as Art: Learn about the craft of making artist books with local mixed-media artist Maryann Riker.

Saturday, 1 p.m., Lehigh Valley poetry community open mic: Come hear local spoken word artists from the area’s thriving literary community.

Sunday, 1 p.m., Lafayette student open mic: Read your own work or a piece with a special place in your heart. Music, comedy, and other varieties of performance are welcome as well.
