Fatimata Cham ’22 recently enjoyed a special opportunity: “During the summer I applied with a recommendation from my government and law professor to attend the Harvard Public Policy Leadership Conference. It was a three-day conference over fall break. I was selected as one of 60 student leaders from around the country. I got to hear from various speakers like Mayor Nutter of Philadelphia and attend courses offered at Harvard Kennedy School. As a FGLI [first-generation low-income] student it was a great way for me to network and learn more about opportunities at Harvard.”
