Work on McCartney Street

While the Markle Parking Deck is under construction, a temporary parking lot will be created at the 100 block of McCartney Street, across the street from McCartney South. Over the course of the next few weeks, utility shutoffs will begin taking place at the houses on McCartney and March Streets in preparation for the construction of the temporary lot. To secure the site for these initial activities, site fencing will be installed later this week. Other site preparations, such as tree, garage, and hardscape removals, will then commence prior to full demolition, which is slated to begin after the final exam period wraps up.
