As some of you may already know, Melissa Ash, Assistant Director of Civic Leadership in the Landis Center for Community Engagement, will be leaving us as of January 28, 2022.
Melissa’s vision of creating an engaged and reflective student community has driven the relationships and programs she has cultivated during her time with us. Through MOSAIC, Alternative School Break, and Pre-Orientation Service Program, she has driven leadership programs that allow students to develop as active citizens who consider their communities a priority in their daily lives even after they leave Lafayette. She has served as a mentor and friend to students, and through her dedicated leadership students learn to analyze and reflect on their relationships to their communities and develop the confidence and skills to participate in civic life.
We are excited for Melissa as she starts her newest journey. Through her strong sense of community and collaborative spirit, she will continue to excel in her new role and throughout her career. Please join us as we wish Melissa well. The Landis Center will be hosting a well-wishing gathering with light hors d’oeuvres on Friday, January 28th from 10:00 a.m. – noon. We would love for you to stop by!
