As members of Lafayette’s supportive and caring campus community, we all have a vital role in encouraging students to care for their mental health and well-being. We will have many opportunities at the start of the spring semester to check-in with students and remind them of the importance of taking care of themselves and one another.
The Counseling Center has created a programming series (including a workshop series facilitated by Jonathan Asayag) during the month of February designed to assist students in strengthening their self-care goals and making the most of their spring semester by caring for their mental health while connecting with others. When meeting with a student who may benefit from this resource, consider opening the registration link together and encouraging the student to take the first step to support their mental health.
