American University’s Washington Semester Program helps students get professional in-person or virtual internships in Washington, D.C. They coach students on resumes, cover letters, mock interviews, networking, and more. Students can get internships in a wide variety of areas, including politics and government, international affairs and foreign policy, business and economics, non-profit and social justice, journalism, and communications. AU will also host credit-bearing workshops and seminars that can be transferred back to Lafayette.
