Please join the Fraternity & Sorority Life community on congratulating the Pennsylvania Eta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi for being recognized as the recipient of the 2021-2022 Balfour Cup, an award that recognizes the No.1 Pi Beta Phi chapter in the world.
The Balfour Cup is the highest honor a Pi Beta Phi chapter can achieve. Chapters that receive this recognition have shown extraordinary chapter achievement toward chapter goals and the fraternity’s shared vision, overcoming obstacles to provide an engaging, inclusive membership, and ensuring operational sustainability.
This award has been presented twice before to the PA Eta chapter. Previously, the chapter received this same recognition in 1992 and again in 2001. This year’s award is even more special due to it being the centennial anniversary of the award.
Recently, the Grand Vice President Collegian, Melissa Malone Colvin, and the Director of Region 1, Laura Redmond, visited Lafayette College to award the chapter with the Balfour Cup in person. The chapter and advisors, Kristin Anderson and Jeannie Rich, were present to receive the award.
