Crew Club takes gold at Head of the Charles Regatta!

This past weekend, the Crew Club took home a gold medal at the largest regatta in the world. The Women’s 4+ team (Lorentzen, Salbinski, Hammel, Walsh, & Comisky) finished first of 35 competitors with an impressive time of 18:37. The club largely faced Division 2 & 3 NCAA teams in the race.

Also racing in the event was a Men’s 4+ team, finishing 22nd of 39 after a minor collision led to a 30 second delay.

Now that the Head of the Charles is behind them, the club looks toward the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta this weekend with eyes set on bringing home another gold!
