Black Heritage Month begins Feb. 1 and runs through Feb. 28. It is a chance to celebrate black culture, remember important people and events in the history of the African diaspora, and to honor the triumphs and struggles of African Americans throughout U.S. history.
Is your class, club, or group planning to host an event, bring in a speaker, or celebrate during Black Heritage Month? Lafayette’s Office of Intercultural Development (OID) will compile a list of events and happenings from groups and departments around campus to share on intercultural.lafayette.edu.
Submit your event now to the College calendar or OurCampus, and send a link to intercultural@lafayette.edu.
