The Lafayette community will mark the one-year anniversary for the start of what is arguably the most important international event of our time, the Russian-Ukrainian war, at an event on Thursday, Feb. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in Kirby Hall of Civil Rights Auditorium (K104). A team of experts, headed by Prof. Dinissa Duvanova, chair of Lehigh University’s International Relations Department and an expert on Post-Communist Russia and Eastern Europe, will comment on the Russian invasion. Following a Q&A session, a reception will be held in Kirby Hall’s lobby.
The event, sponsored by the Department of Government & Law, the International Affairs Program, the Religious Studies Department, the Jewish Studies Program, and the Chaplain’s Office, will be moderated by Prof. Ilan Peleg, Charles A. Dana Professor of Government and Law.
The event is open to all students, faculty, and staff.
