Founders’ Day returns March 9

As the march to 2026 (Lafayette’s bicentennial) begins, we invite you to celebrate and support Lafayette March 9. There will be two opportunities to join in the fun:

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Farinon College Center

Enjoy Lafayette-themed ice cream from Owowcow, share a note of gratitude, and more. Students: Test your Lafayette knowledge in a campus scavenger hunt. Participants will be entered into a drawing to win a Mojo or a College Store gift card.

5-7 p.m. – Quad 

Join President Hurd to watch the Quad light up with maroon and white lights while enjoying complimentary food from two food trucks—Slide on By and Flying V—Founders’ Day cupcakes, hot chocolate, and more. Inclement weather location: Farinon College Center.
