Silent Revolutions: A reading by Max Kade Writer-in-Residence Sharon Dodua Otoo

Sharon Dodua Otoo, Lafayette’s Spring 2023 Max Kade Writer-in-Residence and 2016 Bachmann Prize winner, will share a reading March 21. After a reading by Otoo from her novel Adas Raum—accompanied by the new U.S. translation, forthcoming with Riverhead Books—Prof. David Gramling (UBC) and Prof. Priscilla Layne (UNC at Chapel Hill) discuss questions of literature, art, silence, and social change, followed by an open discussion and Q&A. This is a hybrid event. Students friends, and colleagues welcome. Lab Hour Credit for German students. Catered reception after the event.
