The Lafayette community is invited to a centennial celebration of the Fred Morgan Kirby Professorship of Civil Rights March 22. During the ceremony, there will also be a dedication of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg portrait that hangs in Kirby Library. A lecture will follow the dedication with remarks given by Pres. Nicole Hurd; Margo J. Schlanger, Wade H. and Dores M. McCree, Collegiate Professor of Law and Director, Civil Rights Litigation Clearinghouse, University of Michigan Law School (on leave) and Bruce A. Murphy, Fred Morgan Kirby Professor of Civil Rights.
