ISA Extravaganza is happening April 17 – 22!
Extravaganza is a week-long festival that features a range of events, including the fashion show, international poetry night, World Cup, food tasting, and grand finale. Each event is designed to showcase the unique traditions and customs of different countries, and all are encouraged to participate and immerse themselves!

April 17: ISA Extravaganza – Fashion Show
Starting Extravaganza off with a bang! You won’t want to miss the International Fashion Show; watch your friends strut their stuff on the red carpet in their cultural clothing.
6:30-7:30 p.m. | Lower Farinon Atrium
The Libraries are partnering with other campus units (ISA, Language & Literary Studies, and OID) during the International Extravaganza in April to host an “International Poetry Night” event, in which members of the campus community are invited to read a poem (or sing a song, or perform a monologue!) in a language other than English. The reader will perform the piece in its native language with an English translation projected behind them.
4:30-5:30 p.m. | Skillman 206 (Gendebien)
Support your region and come out to watch the ISA World Cup Competition! This is a football (soccer) tournament and one of Extravaganza’s most upbeat and exciting events!
4:30-7 p.m. | Kirby Sports Center – Kamine Gym
Take a trip around the world with your fellow Lafayette students! Come see their study abroad experiences through photos, learn about their programs, and celebrate the winning photographers!
4:15-5 p.m. | Grossman Library
Discover the art of making Nepali momos with friends! Craft delicious dumplings from scratch in preparation for the Food Tasting event. Then, come indulge in the authentic flavors of Nepal.
6:30-9 p.m. | Farinon – Marlo Room
ISA’s annual food tasting event where you can sample dishes from around the world!
7-9:30 p.m. | Farinon – Marlo Room
The final event of Extravaganza week involves performances from around the world!
