On Fri., April 14, more than 200 students gathered on the Quad to participate in Relay for Life. The event, organized by Student Movement Against Cancer, is an annual fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Ricki Blaustein ’25, says the event featured 19 teams and raised more than $10,000.
During Relay, the Lafayette community also got a chance to meet President Nicole Hurd’s newest golden retriever puppy. After asking students to submit possible names for the pup—who joins siblings Sunshine and Sadie—President Hurd introduced Saylor to the Lafayette community.
