Latinx Heritage Month is coming soon! Latinx Heritage Month runs Sept. 15-Oct. 15 and recognizes the contributions and influence of Latinx Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the U.S. It celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
Are you planning an event, hosting a speaker, or celebrating with your class, club, or group? Submit your event to the calendar, and send a link to intercultural@lafayette.edu.
Lafayette’s Office of Intercultural Development (OID) will compile a list of events and happenings from groups and departments around campus to share on intercultural.lafayette.edu. That list also will run in Lafayette Today in mid-September.
Have an idea for an event but want to talk it through first? Reach out to Karina Fuentes at fuentesk@lafayette.edu.
