Faculty and staff are invited to participate in an open Safe Zone workshop 12-2 p.m. Mon., Oct. 2 in the Marlo Room. This workshop is a fantastic way to kick off LGBTQIA+ History Month and discover ways to make our college a safer and more affirming place for all.
Registration is required. Please email Tommy Lee at leeth@lafayette.edu to secure your spot. Whether you have participated in Safe Zone before, or this is your first time, don’t miss this opportunity to learn and make a positive impact.
Safe Zone trainings are opportunities to learn about LGBTQIA+ identities, gender and sexuality, allyship, and examine prejudice, assumptions, and privilege. More than 2,000 members of the Lafayette College community have participated in the program over the past two years.
