Starting Oct. 1, there will be a new process for sharing retirement celebrations. The goal is to provide advance notice to the campus community as early as possible so that we can celebrate our colleagues who have dedicated their careers to Lafayette.
Each month, a list of all retirement celebrations (if there are any) will be shared on Today.lafayette.edu and through Lafayette Today on the first Thursday of the month. If your department or division is planning a retirement celebration, please submit the information through the Lafayette Today submission form prior to the first Thursday of the month so that it can be included in the list.
Communications will also receive quarterly listings from Human Resources and the Provost’s Office welcoming new hires and celebrating retirees. We’ll begin by sharing the first of these quarterly lists later in October. Please continue to provide timely notifications of staffing changes to HR and/or the Provost so that we can best share that news quarterly through Lafayette Today.
