“It is with a heavy heart that I must announce the permanent closure of Miss Jackson’s Kitchen,” said Owner Juan Martinez. “After careful consideration, we have decided that it is time to bid farewell to this chapter. Our last day will be Oct. 6, effective at 2 p.m. Any outstanding gift cards can be redeemed at any of our Don Juan Mex Grill locations. I want to take this moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to Lafayette College, its dedicated faculty and staff, and the incredible students for their support throughout the last year. While we may be closing our doors, we are not saying goodbye to our cherished connections. Looking ahead, I am excited about the future and look forward to seeing you at Don Juan Mex Grill, where we can continue to share good times and great food. Thank you for being a part of our journey. With gratitude and hospitality.”
The College will be seeking student ideas on other restaurants to occupy the space currently used by Miss Jackson’s Kitchen. During this transition, Lafayette College will be adding $20 in Pard Dollars to each student’s account, effective Oct. 6, for use during the academic year.
