Women’s History Month is right around the corner. How will you celebrate?
Women’s History Month, which runs March 1-31, highlights the contributions of diverse women in history and contemporary society. It also centers around gender equity and will conclude March 31 with a Transgender Day of Visibility.
Is your class, club, or group planning to host an event, bring in a speaker, or celebrate during Women’s History Month? Lafayette’s Gender and Sexuality Resource Center will compile a list of events and happenings from groups and departments around campus to share on gsp.lafayette.edu. Submit your event now to the calendar, and send a link to gsp@lafayette.edu.
Have an idea for an event but want to talk it through first? Reach out to Karina Fuentes, fuentesk@lafayette.edu, or Rob Young at youngr@lafayette.edu.
Please note: Transgender Visibility Week falls during the last week of March. Please include any events or speakers that celebrate that theme along with your Women’s History Month entry!
