Over the summer, several upgrades are occurring across campus to enhance safety and security, improve building access control, and update ID cards. The first part of this project will improve building access control to all buildings, the phases of which are outlined below.

Building access control

Any interior or exterior door with a current fob reader will have the hardware and/or firmware replaced over the next several weeks. Access to the building/door will be maintained throughout the project, and existing fobs will continue to work. Individual readers may not function briefly while the contractor replaces the hardware, but disruption should be minimal. All current readers are anticipated to be replaced by the end of July.

The buildings listed below will receive new building access control this summer, including the installation of readers on exterior doors. This work will happen in phases, and building occupants will be notified in advance of the work and activation of the readers. All new installations are anticipated to be completed by the end of August.
