Six sustainable tips for the start of the semester

The Office of Sustainability welcomes you back to campus and encourages you to take advantage of sustainability programs Lafayette has to offer.

• Thrift Store: Shop Wednesdays 4-6 p.m. in Pardee 25 for clothes, kitchen goods, school supplies and more.
• Composting: Scrape food scraps from your plate into the buckets at Marquis/Upper to compost. Remember to recycle responsibly too!
• Leopard Leftovers: Join the GroupMe to get alerted about free food after events have ended.
• Reusable Clamshells: Use your carabiner to get one from Upper/Marquis to take food to go! Visit Marquis Dining Office for a carabiner if you don’t have one.
• Sustainable Punch Cards: Get rewarded for sustainable actions.
• Get Involved! Check out campus jobs, Eco Reps program, and student clubs.
