Visit lots of fall events this week on campus, and don’t forget about the spectacular PA Bacon Fest. 

  1. The Clothesline Project: Pards Against Sexual Assault (PASA) will host a table event to honor the Clothesline Project, which is a nationally recognized project bringing awareness to violence against women. It serves as a storytelling and educational tool using decorated T-shirts, to express words or artwork featuring messages of awareness and support for those who have experienced violence. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mon., Oct. 28 and Tues., Oct. 29 • Farinon Atrium • MORE
  2. Día de los Muertos Altar Gathering: Celebrate the upcoming Día de los Muertos holiday! This event includes information about the holiday and will feature an altar with pictures and artifacts of loved ones. Food, tea, and hot chocolate will be available at this Hispanic Society of Lafayette event.   3. Environmental Pumpkin Carving: Feeling in the fall spirit and want to celebrate sustainability? Visit Anderson Courtyard this Tuesday, where Environmental Programs, Lafayette Sustainability, and LaFFCo will host pumpkin carving.   5. PA Bacon Fest: The popular PA Bacon Fest returns this weekend, with a two-day festival full of delicious food, live music, a plethora of activities, and all kinds of bacon treats. Voted Best Festival by Lehigh Valley Style’s Best of 2023, PA Bacon Fest is celebrating its 13th year. There will be over 150 food and drink vendors and 35 musical acts. The festival serves as a fundraiser for the nonprofit Greater Easton Development Partnership. Visitors are asked to contribute a suggested $5 donation at the entrance to benefit local Easton activities, helping to support free events and programs in Easton throughout the year.
