The Hanson Center presents the second panel in the Interdisciplinarity as Scholarly Practice series: “Building a Collaborative Multi-Institutional Interdisciplinary Research Team.” Lafayette’s Kristen Sanford and Virginia Tech’s Frederick Paige will share insights from their NSF-funded project reshaping engineering education’s approach to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. Collaborating with the Institute for Research in the Social Sciences, they’ll explore key lessons on building cross-institutional teams, from valuing expertise and collaborative writing to fostering respect and inspiration.
