Lafayette will host its first Girl Scout Badge Day on campus Sat., Feb. 22!
Lafayette students, staff, and faculty will share their expertise to help local Girl Scouts (grades K-12) earn badges as they explore campus. Volunteers from the Engineering Department, Alpha Phi Omega, Admissions, Lafayette College Libraries, Financial Aid, and Landis Center will teach badges including:
The event will run 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., Feb. 22. Volunteers are needed to greet scout troops as they arrive, guide them to their classrooms, and assist with the badge lessons. While it would be great to have some volunteers who are former Girl Scouts, volunteers do not need to have any scouting experience to participate.
Volunteers can register for one of two shifts: 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch will be provided for volunteers. REGISTER
Thank you so much for your help with this! If you have any questions, please email Kelly Huth.
