The Paul Tully Memorial Prize is presented to one or more students—regardless of year, major, party, or ideological standpoint—to honor their political engagement (e.g., campaigns and elections, legislation, working for a political party, government internships, advocacy for political participation). Paul Tully, graduate of Yale University and Penn Law School, was the political director of the Democratic National Committee when he died at age 48 in 1992. Faculty, students, administrators, and staff should email nominations to Prof. Joshua Miller (millerj@lafayette.edu) by Fri., Feb. 21. Self-nominations are also welcome. The prize committee includes representatives from the Government and Law Department, the President’s Office, and the Landis Center for Community Engagement.
