The Office of Sustainability is pleased to announce the Earth Month keynote speaker for April: Alicia Kennedy. Kennedy is a food and culture writer, tackling topics of food justice, politics, and the challenges within local, national and global food systems. Join a fireside chat with Kennedy and Prof. Benjamin Cohen of Environmental Studies and explore food in the past, present, and future world. Light refreshments will be provided. Skillman Library will be giving away free copies of Kennedy’s book No Meat Required 10 a.m. Wed., April 2. Thirty copies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the circulation desk. The book is also available for checkout.
