As the semester winds down, finals approach, and summer or graduation plans begin to take shape, it’s a great time to talk about community and connection. Feelings of belonging and connection are important to overall wellness. Maintaining and engaging your different levels of connection over time is what allows those relationships to strengthen and deepen. Think about some ways that you can maintain and grow your connections on campus in the final month. Do you want to meet certain people for lunch more regularly? Are there people you enjoy chatting with after class? Can you talk to your friends about connecting over the summer or after graduation? Make time to engage even during busy times. Visit the Counseling Center website to learn more about cultivating connections.
