An engaged consumer is a smart consumer! Medical consumerism promotes patients’ involvement in their own healthcare decisions. During this presentation—which is presented in partnership by LVAIC and Capital Blue Cross—the true cost of health care and medical self-care will be discussed, and a Digital Diabetes program will be introduced. Participants will become smart medical consumers and learn how to access and use Capital Blue Cross resources to help them live healthy.
