The summer 2025 issue of Lafayette’s alumni magazine is out now. In the cover story, “Sending a signal,” research by Kellyann Niotis ’12 poses an important question: Could simple blood tests for telltale substances in the body give doctors new ways to detect and treat severe diseases like Alzheimer’s?
