For the 10th straight year, Lafayette engineers have earned Tau Beta Pi scholarships, one of the most prestigious honors in engineering education. Seniors Sophia (Bella) Harrill ’26 (chemical engineering), Owen Paschke ’26 (mechanical engineering), Kashif Chopra ’26 (electrical and computer engineering), and Aidan Rose ’26 (mechanical engineering) were selected for their academic excellence and character.
Harrill, an honors thesis candidate, researches biodegradable polyesters and serves as VP of Lafayette’s Tau Beta Pi chapter. Paschke, president of Pennsylvania Epsilon, also leads Engineers Without Borders and club baseball. Chopra co-founded SpaceOna, created campus laundry sensors, and minors in economics. Rose, also a philosophy minor, researches bicycle simulators and leads as a peer mentor, orientation leader, and club spikeball president. Congratulations, scholars!
