An aerial map with a red arrow shows the work area, outlined in red. A yellow box with text reads Work to occur from Sept. 2 through end of Oct.Phase 3 of the Easton Pedestrian Safety Improvements Project will begin Tues., Sept. 2. Thanks to funding provided by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside, this phase includes sidewalk upgrades along Cattell Street, between High Street and Clinton Terrace.

The work is being managed by the City of Easton and will proceed in stages. The first stage, starting Sept. 2, will take place on the west side of Cattell Street (across from Wawa) between High Street and March Street. This portion is expected to be completed by the end of October. During this time the sidewalk will be closed.

Construction will then shift to the east side of Cattell Street between High Street and March Street, followed by the East and West sections between March Street and Clinton Terrace.

Updates will be shared as sidewalk sections are closed and reopened. The overall project is scheduled for completion in July 2026.
