Program cover of 1924 Lafayette College Centennial Pageant
The 1924 Lafayette College Centennial Pageant was held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the naming of the College in 1824.
The event included a gathering on March Field and a parade before College faculty and the Easton community. Celebrating the pageant, the Oct. 17, 1924, edition of The Lafayette wrote that “a century and three-quarters of the history of an American community and a century of history of an American institution of higher learning were portrayed before four thousand people.”
