Lafayette Activities Forum (LAF) has brought back its Late Night Programming series this semester with a variety of activities offered every weekend. The schedule features events that get students involved, such as painting, attending a football game, and even a game show night. The goal of the program is to promote different communities on campus as well as provide fun weekend activities for student participation.

“We want something that you can be very interactive with,” says Lauren Finlay ’27, director of Late Night Programming. “Our No. 1 goal is to make sure everyone has their own niche in everything we are doing.”

A total of 21 events are planned throughout the semester. This includes Salsa Social Night, PJ Yoga and Movie Night, and Friday Night Frenzy. Melissa Dalrymple, associate director of student involvement, says Late Night Programming is open to all students, but is targeted toward first-year students.

“It’s good face time (for organizations),” Dalrymple says. Late Night Programming offers students a chance to get to know other groups on campus.

Organizations involving all different interests are participating in this fall’s Late Night Programming, including Recreation Services, Stress Less, and Athletics. Students are welcome to join any of the events at no cost; however, some of the art programs may require an RSVP.

The Late Night Programming series is a great opportunity for organizations to showcase their work on campus and for students to engage with new people through fun activities.

The full calendar of events was emailed to all students earlier this semester, and is displayed on a large poster hanging in Farinon Atrium. Events will also be shared in the This Week on the Hill newsletter.
