The Lafayette Speech and Debate Team (also known as Forensics) is hosting its annual tournament Oct. 11-12 and needs your help! Schools from around the country will come to the beautiful Lafayette campus to compete. These students are some of the best and brightest in the nation; they are using their skills to discuss very important ideas in a competitive and academic setting. And hosting a tournament is a big responsibility.
You’re invited to be a judge! The team would love to include the expertise of Lafayette faculty and staff in the feedback given to students. It would require only a few hours of your time, and no experience with speech or debate is necessary. Faculty and staff members who are interested in serving as judges should email Scott Placke.
