As Halloween creeps up on us, fun events are happening campus-wide to celebrate. Carve a pumpkin on the Quad, attend a spooky Drag Story Hour, or paint a frame for Dia de Los Muertos. Check out these events happening this week.

  1. Dia de Los Muertos frame painting: Celebrate Dia de Los Muertos with the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life by painting picture frames. Open to all students, participants create their own designs that can be presented on the altar to honor loved ones or taken home. 4:30 p.m. Wed., Oct. 29 • The Buttery Seminar Room, Farinon • MORE
  2. Zumbathon: In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, participate in Zumbathon hosted by NIA, an organization for women of color by women of color. A zumba session and raffle will be held raising funds for the Capital Breast Care Center. 5-7 p.m. Wed., Oct. 29 • Pfenning Alumni Center • MORE
  3. Women’s soccer vs. Lehigh: Already excited for Rivalry Week? Share your Leopard spirit by supporting women’s soccer as the team takes on Lehigh. 7-9 p.m. Wed., Oct. 29 • Gummeson Grounds • MORE
  4. Pumpkin carving: Carve pumpkins with Lafayette Sustainability, LaFarm, Lafayette Environmental Science and Studies, and LaFFCo. Everyone is invited to pick a pumpkin, enjoy snacks provided by LaFarm, and celebrate the fall season on the Quad. 3-5 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 30 • The Quad • MORE
