Join The Landis Center for Community Engagement for a community discussion focused the ongoing Pennsylvania budget impasse: what it means, why it matters, and how it’s affecting our local schools and nonprofit organizations. This event will feature a keynote by John Kincaid, Robert B. and Helen S. Meyner Professor of Government and Public Service, providing context on the state budget process, followed by discussions with community partners from Project of Easton, 3rd Street Alliance, Family Connections, Safe Harbor, The United Way, The Neighborhood Center, and The City of Easton. Together, we’ll explore ways our campus and community can collaborate and advocate to sustain essential services and support those most affected during this period of uncertainty.
