A campus safety-systems test is scheduled for Fri., Jan. 9. Elements of this exercise include:
- Building entrances will be locked briefly. Anyone may still exit any building at any time.
- A notification that the exercise has begun will be sent via text, email, computer alert, voice alert to campus phones, and on-campus digital signage through the Leopard Alert Emergency Alert Service.
- Faculty/staff/students: Be sure your contact information is up to date in Banner to receive Leopard Alerts.
- Parents and families, contract staff, and community members: Learn more about Leopard Alerts and how to register.
- The outdoor siren/PA system will sound.
- Once the exercise concludes, Public Safety will send a Leopard Alert.
