Gateway Career Center offers many different resources for students including Career Resource Central (CRC).
Every aspect of the job search process—from interview practice to finding internships and job opportunities, along with so much more—can be found on CRC.
“Career Resource Central is our hub for all career-related information,” says Rebecca Shafer, associate director and Gateway Career counselor. “You can get resources, resume samples, information on developing career skills, access to affinity and identity resources, schedule your appointments for the Career Center, and check the events calendar.”
Students can use CRC to customize emails they receive from the Career Center, allowing specific information about events and career paths to be sent to each individual.
If students are interested in creating a personalized daily or weekly Gateway email update, they can click the link “Personalize the communications” on CRC. This allows students to select the type of information received in Gateway emails. Additional custom options can also be found by clicking on “Explore Career Interests.” Students can select the area they are most interested in and explore possible alumni to connect with, career preparation resources, and available opportunities.
