A more sustainable campus begins with you! The Green Events Certification Program aims to encourage all applicants to incorporate sustainable and inclusive practices into the planning and execution of both on- and off-campus events. The application process is simple. Applicants are asked to submit information about their event through a Qualtrics survey at least two weeks before the event—or, preferably, during the planning stage. Based on the sustainable actions your event commits to, you’ll receive a digital certificate along with suggestions for making your event even more sustainable. Shoutout to NIA Sisterhood, Yarn Club, and ECO Reps for being among the first to apply for and earn a Green Events Certification!
