Anxiety is a term we hear often; but what does it actually mean to you? While anxiety looks different for everyone, it’s something we all experience at times. A certain amount of anxiety is a normal part of life, especially in college. Anxiety can show up in many ways, including racing thoughts, difficulty concentrating, tension, restlessness, or feeling overwhelmed.
Did you know the Counseling Center offers a workshop that can help you better understand anxiety and learn practical ways to manage it? Join Karissa Rizzolino-Dauscher, part-time staff psychologist, 12 p.m. Feb. 23, March 2, and March 9 to learn what keeps the anxiety cycle going and develop effective strategies to reduce its impact.
