Lafayette to welcome Bill Nye as Founders’ Day speaker

Renowned scientist, inventor, author, and television personality Bill Nye will visit Lafayette as the keynote speaker for the 2026 Founders’ Day speaker series. The Emmy Award-winning host of Bill Nye the Science Guy and Bill Nye Saves the World will be on campus Mon., March 30, for an interview with Jenn Rossmann, Jeffers Dean of Engineering and Baird Professor of Mechanical Engineering.8 p.m. Mon., March 30 • Colton Chapel • Reserve your spot now!

The Founders’ Day series, previously known as Senior Speaker, is made possible thanks to the generous contributions of the Class of 1963 Guest Speaker Fund and Lafayette Activities Forum. This event is part of an extended celebration of Lafayette’s Founders’ Week, which honors the College’s Bicentennial.
