Psychological pain (e.g., sadness, worry, anger) is a natural part of life. This pain can communicate important information about our experiences. However, sometimes we may feel overwhelmed by our emotions, which makes it difficult to understand what our pain is trying to tell us. In response, we may act in ways that help us feel better temporarily, but cause more distress later on. Seeking Serenity is a three-session workshop through the Counseling Center that focuses on identifying and changing the things that contribute to distress that are within our capacity to change, and accepting and better managing the things we are unable to change. This workshop will be held 1 p.m. April 1, 8, and 15. REGISTER
